ReplyDeleteUnderstatement of the millenia. Teenagers are causatory agents of parental chest pain, sleep deprivation, high blood pressure, buttocks and neck pain, and depletion of savings.
That having been said, I went to Taste of Chaos two weeks ago at the Aragon, suffered two broken ribs in the mosh pit, and made my way backstage to meet my hero, the lead guitarist from A7X. The crowd was primarily teens, and although they definitely got the most bang for their 'rock' dollar, I found them to be a polite and engaging group of young adults.
Hey buddy . . . I'm going to Oklahoma City on 4/3 to TOC - goin by myself cuz daughter's in school. I'm drivin out there the day before. Ya wanna drop the ole fogey personna for a day and rock out? Ask the Kid about the TOC bands; A7X, Bullet For My Valentine, Atreyu, etc. Lemme know by Saturday (tomorrow) cuz I could prolly still get you a ticket.
In case you haven't noticed, I babble, go off-topic, etc.; hope I'm not violating KURT'S THOUGHTS TOS. I'd hate to be kicked out of the blog forum. I haven't been blocked from posting since the CompuServe days.
