If the Flowing Well is going to be brought back to the people of Joliet, there needs to be community support.

I have started this project, the Herald News printed my letter to the editor, and Mr. Egizio of the Joliet Park District has agreed to bring this matter to the attention of the Park board that their January 2007 meeting.

If we expect the Park board to consider bringing back the Flowing Well, then they need to know it is wanted by the people of Joliet.

Three things that you can do:

1: Call the Joliet Herald Open Line at 815-729-6125 and let them know this really matters.

2: Click the 'comments' link directly below this post and write a paragraph of support. I will print comments posted here and present them to the Park Board at the January meeting.

3: Plan to attend the January meeting of the Joliet Park Board.

I am glad that I have started this project, but it needs your support to finish it.
